How to find my Live PayPal username, password and signature? Where can I find my PayPal API credentials?

The Live API credentials can be found in PayPal when you are logged in with your account. Depending on the version of PayPal admin interface and your country, it shows up in a different place.

  • Option 1:

  1. Log in to your PayPal Business account

  2. Click on your User menu at the top right. Select "Account access".

  3. Then, look for "API access". It should lead you to this page: https://www.paypal.com/businessmanage/credentials/apiaccess, if you wish to go directly from this link.

  4. Scroll down to "NVP/SOAP API Integration (Classic)" and click on "Manage API credentials". It will lead you to https://www.paypal.com/businessprofile/mytools/apiaccess/firstparty

  5. Click Request API Credentials and click on "Show" to view the API Username, Password and Signature.

  • Option 2:

  1. Log in to your PayPal Business account

  2. Click on this link to directly open the PayPal API credentials menu and jump to step 6 or follow next steps if you prefer

  3. Click on the “Tools” menu in top navigation

  4. Find “More Tools” and click it

  5. Scroll the page until “API credentials” and click on it

  6. Once on the API credentials page, click on the last option for NVP/SOAP API integration

  7. Fill up the API credentials request form

 

  • Option 3:

  1. Log in to your PayPal Business account.

  2. Click on Profile menu located in the top navigation area.

  3. Click the API Access link under the Account Information header.

  4. Click the “Get Started” link under the Request API Credentials heading.

  5. Click the “My selling preferences” sub option in left sidebar.

  6. Click the “Update” option for API access item

  7. Complete the API Credential Request form
