I use Stripe. How can the remaining balance be paid?

🤔 Problem

I use Stripe payment gateway, and I want to charge my customer the remaining balance. How do I collect the outstanding balance, and which methods can I use?

🌱 Solution

Please note that charging the remaining balance can not be done automatically. There are two methods to collect the payment, one where you perform the operation, the other where the customer makes the payment.

1. Charging the customer directly from the admin, in the Reservations page: Can I charge a customer of the remaining balance?

2. Sending a payment link to the customer: Can I send a payment link to my client?

Make sure that you have set up Stripe payment gateway correctly in HBook > Payment > Stripe settings. You can check this article for further information: Can I charge a customer of the remaining balance?
