How to sync HBook with AirBnb?
We recommend that you use HBook as your main calendar. To get the synchronization up and running, you need to have created your accommodation types.
Please note that AirBnb include in their export calendars only reservations for which the check-in is within 12 months.
To set the synchronization both ways, you will proceed as follows for each accommodation:
in HBook > iCal sync, you will click on "Get URL" and copy the URL
on AirBnb, in Calendars > Availability settings > Connect calendars, you will click on "Connect to another website" and paste the URL in the Step 2 section.
This means that now if you receive a reservation on your site via HBook, your AirBnb calendar will be automatically updated.
on AirBnb, in Calendars > Availability settings > Connect calendars, you will click on "Connect to another website" and copy the URL in the Step 1 section.
in HBook > iCal sync, you will click on "New calendar" in the "Synced calendar" column, name the calendar and paste the URL.
This means that now if you receive a reservation on AirBnb, HBook will automatically import it. You will see it in Reservations page.
We highly recommend the following setting for the synchronization to work properly:
in HBook > Ical sync > Import settings, set "Exclude blocked dates from the import" to "Yes".
in HBook > Ical sync > Export settings, set "Include blocked dates in the export" to "Yes".
if you have any date that you need to block (for example, for painting work), please do so from HBook > Reservations > Block accommodation. Thanks to the iCal sync, it will automatically be blocked in AirBnb calendar.
