How can I modify the information that is shared in the iCal export calendars?

In an iCal calendar content, there are two iCal properties that can be used to share additional information: the SUMMARY and DESCRIPTION properties.

Important information:

each platform may or may not process and display the information shared with the iCal DESCRIPTION/SUMMARY property. For example, AirBnb and Booking.com do not use this information. Google Calendar shows both: the summary is the title of the event, and the description goes in the event details (when clicking on the event in the Google Calendar).
if you are sharing sensitive information, consider enabling the random key setting in HBook > iCal sync > Export settings > “Add a random key to the export URL”.

For reservations

Both the “Summary” and the “Description” properties can be modified in HBook > iCal sync > Export settings. You can include variables to share information from the reservation or the client.

For blocked accommodation

For the “Summary” property, by default, HBook indicates the “Accommodation type reference” followed by “Accommodation blocked” text.

For the “Description” property, by default, HBook indicates the “Accommodation type reference” (with the accommodation number in parentheses) followed by the admin comment or “Accommodation blocked” text (when there is no admin comment).

Accommodation type reference: HBook uses the "short name” when it is defined. Otherwise, the accommodation ID is displayed.
