How to set rates that are per person per night?

HBook can be adjusted to charge per person. You can have adult rates and children rates.

📘 Instructions

To charger per person per day, here is how you will proceed.

1. In the Accommodation type settings, adjust the Occupancy settings:

   • Minimum occupancy and Normal occupancy: 1 person

   • Maximum occupancy: the maximum number of persons in the accommodation

2. In HBook > Rates, set the “Accommodation Rate” to the price for 1 adult

3. In HBook > Rates, set the “Price per adult/child above normal occupancy”. You can set a different price for adult and children.

You will follow the same pattern to create a base price for “x” persons, for example, and have an extra charge per additional guest. Your “Normal occupancy” is the “x” number of persons for which your base price applies. The “Accommodation rate” is your base price.
