Can I offer my property as a whole and per accommodation?

Yes, you can perfectly rent your property as a whole, or separately.

This can be useful if you have a property that can be rented per room or entirely. Or if you have various properties on a site that are normally booked separately, but you wish to offer the option to privatise the entire site.

📘 Instructions

Create your Accommodation types. You will set your booking rules, occupancy settings, prices for each case. For example, you may wish to have a “Minimum occupancy” for the “Entire property”.

Let’s take the example of 2 apartments, Apartment A can accommodate 8 persons and Apartment B can accommodate 6 persons. You will create the accommodation types as follows:

Apartment A: Maximum occupancy = 8 persons
Apartment B: Maximum occupancy = 6 persons
Entire property (A+B): Maximum occupancy = 14 persons. Minimum occupancy = 9 persons, if I wish to show this option only for larger groups.

Set the Automatic blockings for automatic update of availability. In the “Automatic blockings” section of the settings of each Accommodation Type, you will indicate the ID of the accommodation that need to be blocked by HBook automatically.

In my example:

I will add the ID of the "Apartment A" and "Apartment B" in the settings of the "Entire property (A+B)". It means that "Apartment A" and "Apartment B" will automatically be blocked when someone books the Entire property.
I will add the ID of the “Entire apartment” as the accommodation to be blocked, in the settings of both "Apartment A" and "Apartment B". If I receive a reservation for “Apartment A”, or for “Apartment B”, HBook will block the option to book the entire property for these dates.
