How do I know if there is an update of HBook Connect plugin available?
We will release new versions of HBook Connect plugin whenever it is necessary for our developments during this process of certification as Connectivity partner for Google Hotels and Vacation Rentals.
You will view in Plugins that an update is available, and you will be able to update directly by clicking on “Update now”.
What happens when I click on “Transmit information”?
With the current version of HBook Connect, when you click on “Transmit information”, the property information is sent to our servers at Maestrel. It is not communicated yet to Google Hotels and Google Vacation Rentals.
When will Maestrel transmit Properties to Google Hotels and Google Vacation Rentals?
At Maestrel level, we are compiling the information transmitted by all HBook Connect users.
The next stage will involve Maestrel and both Google Hotels and Google Vacation Rentals. These are two separate technical teams within Google, and the process is separated. This next phase will consist in:

Maestrel : we have to structure the data compiled to transmit it to Google Hotels and to Google Vacation Rentals

Google Hotels and Google Vacation Rentals: each technical team will review the information received and cross-check the listings provided with their own Google data. This is where they match each property with its Google Business profile/Maps data.
How long will it take?

There are actions for which we are depending on the technical teams at Google Hotels and Google Vacation Rentals. Each technical team has its own criteria. Even if the two integrations and certifications are run in parallel by us, the validation of each step by Google Hotels and by Google Vacation Rentals may happen at different moments.
