How to specify an age for the children in the search form?

HBook have 2 different guest types : they are named by default "Adults" and "Children". But you can:

• in HBook > Search form : set if you wish to use both of them or not

• in HBook > Text > Search form : modify the text of the labels "Adults" and "Children"

HBook does not work with a selection of the children age (as in AirBnb or booking.com). Depending on your needs, you can combine the following options.

Change the labels 

You can use both guest types but change the labels so it says for example "Adults(+16 y.o.)" instead of "Adults", and "Children (2-16 y.o.)" instead of "Children".

Use only one field labelled “Guests”

You can use only the "Adults" guest type but change the label to "Guests".

Collect children age

You can as well use the extra-services in HBook > Extra-services or the details form in HBook > Details form, to ask your guests to specify the age of the children.

If you work with age groups, for example “Babies (Under 2)”, “Children (2–12 years old)” and “Teens (12–16 years old)”, you can as well charge them differently, using the extra-services.
