My HBook iCal calendar URL is not accepted

🤔 Problem

When I add my HBook iCal Calendar URL, the external platform (AirBnb, booking.com, etc.) tells me that it is not a valid iCal calendar.

🌱 Solution

When a platform indicates that you have not entered a valid .ics calendar, it means that the platform coudl not access your calendar.

  1. Do you have a “Coming soon/Maintenance” plugin active? Please disable maintenance mode or coming soon mode, as it prevents your platform to access your HBook Calendars.

  2. If this is not the problem, then follow these steps to check if you have a valid iCal calendar returned when calling your HBook iCal calendar URL. If the validation indicates that it is not an iCal calendar, then click on “Show source” to view what is returned.

  3. If your calendar is validated and is correctly showing the reservations, then it means that there is an issue between your server and the server of the platform on which you are trying to add your HBook calendar. Please contact your host provider to get assistance from them

  4. If the issue remains, please send us a support request!
