I have a message indicating that "HBook iCal calendars URLs are currently cached".
🤔 Problem
In HBook > ICal Sync, there is a notification that my iCal calendars URL are cached.
🌱 Solution
Caching can be applied with different layers. You can have a plugin for cache, and you can as well have cache applied at server level.
Here are the steps to follow to troubleshoot this issue.
Check at which level you have caching in place. To do so, deactivate all plugins but HBook and check if the notification remains.
If the notification remains with only HBook plugin active, it means that there is caching at server level. Get in touch with your hosting provider and ask them to exclude your HBook iCal URL from the cache.
If the notification is not present when all plugins are deactivated, you need to configure your caching plugin with HBook. Please check this article from our knowledge base to set up your caching plugin with HBook.
You will find your HBook iCal URL by clicking on “Get export URL” for each accommodation, in HBook > ICal sync.
