What are the different roles added by HBook?
Four different user roles are added by HBook plugin. You can create a new user in Users and select one of the following HBook roles for this user.
Reservation reader
Reservation manager
Pricing manager
HBook manager
HBook adds as well various capabilities, to allow fine-tuning of user/role capabilities:
a specific capability for the access to each HBook menu
a capability for viewing the admin reservation list
a capability for viewing the customer column in the reservation list
a capability for viewing the price column in the reservation list

If you need to modify the default Role view, you can use a third party plugin or use HBook filters.
Presentation of HBook roles
Reservation reader
A user who has this role can only read the reservation calendar, without any price/payment information, and without the customer personal information. A reservation reader can not modify the reservation or run any actions.
Here is what a user with Reservation reader role will see when logged in:

Reservation manager
A user who has this role can both read the reservation calendar and manage the reservation list (edit, cancel, delete, confirm, send emails etc...). He can as well add blocked dates or reservations from the back-end. Here is what a user with Reservation manager role will see when logged in:

Pricing manager
A user who has this role will view the same Reservations admin page than the Reservation manager. Additionally, he can access the HBook menus that are related to the prices (Seasons, Rates, Booking rules, Extra-services, Fees), as well as the menus Customers, Reservations and the Accommodation types:
