On my website, the calendar is not showing that a date is not available.

When does HBook show that a date is not available?

  • On a global search form: a date will be shown as unavailable on a calendar when no accommodation is available for the date. You are booked out.

  • On an accommodation type calendar (booking form date picker or availability calendar), a date will be shown as unavailable only if you don’t have any accommodation of this type left for this date.

Why my calendar is not updated on front-end? In the admin, I can see that it is booked, but on my website, it shows as available?

If the availability is not updated correctly on your website, it can be due to caching. In this case, it is only when trying to book/search that HBook indicates that there are no availability.

  • To check if you have caching applied on the page: open the page in “Private” tab and check if the availability calendar is correct.

  • Please refer to this help article to adjust caching plugin with HBook.
