How to set up TranslatePress plugin with HBook?
Please note that it is not possible to use the Oxygen page builder, TranslatePress, and HBook simultaneously due to compatibility issues between these three.
Before using TranslatePress, it is important to follow these 3 steps:
You will need to use our hb_language_list function to list HBook languages. This filter allows you to display the fields to be translated in HBook > Text/Translations and HBook > Emails (in order to define different emails depending on the language).
Import existing translations into HBook > Text/Translations: import translation files provided by HBook
Some strings are displayed via AJAX or under specific conditions. These elements will need to be translated directly with the TranslatePress visual editor.
Translate content with TranslatePress
You can access the translation editor by clicking on the tab “Translate the website” in the extension settings, or the button “Translate the website” in the WordPress admin bar.
Click on the blue translation icon next to the desired text.
The text appears in the left column of the editor. Enter the translation in the field provided, then click on “Save translation”.
Repeat the process for all elements: menus, buttons, side columns, widgets, meta text, etc.
TranslatePress saves each string once and automatically reuses it throughout the entire site.
With TranslatePress, translations are done directly on the front-end by hovering over visible text.
